From the Texas State Library:
Creating a successful teen advisory board can invest your teen audience in the library and in their community. What if teens aren't currently coming into your library? Well, no better way to get them interested than to put them in charge of their own library destiny by creating a teen advisory board. Valerie Jensen, Assistant County Librarian of the Chambers County Library System in Anahuac, Texas discusses her library's efforts to get the teens in the door and keep them interested.
