Family Fun @ the Library
Family Fun @ the Library features activities for parents and children to do together at the library. These kinds of programs promote the perspective that parents are the role models and primary teachers for their children. Interacting with them builds bonding, brain development, literacy, language, and special memories. Many of these activities were done during Overnight @ the Library events for ages 6-11 with parents, but some could be adapted for younger children or briefer programs. Activities include games, crafts, and storytelling.
