About the Event
Focus on Children and Young Adults Institute will continue in the tradition of previous Focus Institutes by providing a foundation of knowledge in the principles and practices of public library service for children and young adults.
Sessions will include:
-Early Brain Development
-Early Literacy Storytimes
-Children
Cost: $90
To Register:
The Focus Institute attendance is limited to 25 people, registrants will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. Registrants must be from Oregon, have no graduate level education in librarianship, and work in youth services or want to work in youth services at their library. Registrants who work in small libraries have priority. The 25 participants will be mailed a confirmation letter the second week in August, and details about the conference will be mailed to them the first week of September.
