The Long Road to Change

The Long Road to Change takes children through America's beginnings, civil rights movement, and the inauguration of our first African American President. After watching the 2009 Presidential inauguration, many of her students reflected on the similarities between Barack Obama's dreams to those of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. That beautiful, simple insight inspired the book, The Long Road to Change. As a public school teacher, Rachael Law Schuetz witnesses the effect of the economic crisis on our schools. She will donate a portion of the proceeds of The Long Road to Change to benefit public schools in the United States. Thank you for helping bring this message to children across the nation. Rachael Law Schuetz is available for book presentations and speaking events.
