In times of shrinking public budgets and growing personnel costs, libraries have never been under more pressure. Some libraries are facing a bleak choice between privatization and closure. This program will discuss some of the factors shaping the current landscape and share ideas not only for lean operations and strategic downsizing, but also how to effectively share the library's story with stakeholders in the community.
