Lauren is Director at Whistler Public Library, the 5th member of the Sitka Evergreen consortium in British Columbia (now known as the BC Libraries Cooperative). The consortium has 37 members as of this date, with new migrations each month. Lauren is Chair of the Sitka Business Function Group, a member of the Cataloguing Working Group and one of the Cataloguing Mentors for the province. She is also a registered architect and has taught workshops on the process of planning for a new library building, most recently at Salt Spring Island Library (August, 2010).
