The Oregon Authors Project is a growing collection of published authors who call Oregon home. Basic bibliographic information about an author’s works is covered, as well as affiliated awards, a photo of the author, a link to their website, and their geographic tie to Oregon. The site will also include a blog that features engaging content about authors and their works. As the reworking of a former bibliographic database that became unsustainable and difficult to use, the new Oregon Authors project/website is an example of turning an obstacle into an opportunity for creative reimagining, rekindling, and rejuvenating!
