Memory Café Coos is a social gathering for people with dementia and their care partners held at the North Bend Public Library. Urban or rural, chances are your community would benefit from a memory cafe at your library. What do libraries offer that are beneficial to memory cafés? In this session I will share how ours got started and where we are now. We’ll talk about partnerships, costs, pitfalls, supplies, activities, expectations and realities, and the importance of tangerines.
