In the morning session “Changes from AACR2 to RDA: a Comparison of Examples,” Adam Schiff provided a clear and detailed look at RDA and how it differs from AACR2, using side-by-side examples of elements in catalog records. In the afternoon session, “Metadata Basics: Steps to Linked Data,” Karen Coyle took attendees through the basic steps of creating data that can play well on the Web, with hands-on exercises. This session included a discussion on the future of library data and the new bibliographic framework. Karen’s web page includes a list of links to many of her presentations.
