Descrtipion
At some point, libraries of all sizes, shapes, and budgets will find themselves facing a complicated project with different stakeholder interests to balance, space issues to contend with, budgetary limits, or other factors to consider to make it a success. This session will show you a deliberate operational planning process that will help accomplish your library’s goal, whatever it may be, in a logical, organized way. Along with the method itself, we’ll share how the Newberg Public Library staff, volunteers, and supporters planned and completed a shifting project of over 20,000 items in a couple of hours using this method, kept every single book in the correct order, and made the entire event fun too.
